Client Appreciation Picnic

WHAT TO BRING
We will have lawn chairs and various outdoor activities (footballs, frisbees, horseshoes) already available for you, but it's never a bad idea to bring extra chairs or picnic blankets!
Be sure to bring your DIGITAL CAMERA or CAMERA PHONE with you for our Annual "Digital" Scavenger Hunt!!
FOOD PANTRY
Bring some food for the Food Pantry! The Food Pantries always run low at this time of year so this is a good time to gather our canned and packaged foods for those in need.
Bring your donations with you to the picnic or drop them by our office. We appreciate your help in gathering the food together and your participation. The Food Pantry certainly appreciates your help too!
WHAT TO WEAR
During the afternoon it is typically warm & enjoyable, but it will cool down later in the day as the sun sets. We'll have a couple of fires going after dark to keep you warm & to toast marshmallows & make s'mores! It's best to dress in layers so you can add or remove jackets or sweatshirts to adjust your own personal thermostat throughout the event!
PICTURES
Pictures will be taken by a professional photographer from 3-5 PM. We will email your pictures to you and will also post them on this website - PicnicByBetty.com. The pictures last year were good enough to print and send in some of your Christmas cards!
BOUNCE HOUSE
We will have a Bounce House for the kids to enjoy from 3-9 PM so come prepared with your bouncing sock-covered feet!
PONY RIDES
A pony will be available from 3-5 PM for rides & great photo opportunities!
PINATA
The kids always love this game and each one will have a chance to "bust loose" with this candy-filled activity.
BRING YOUR APPETITE!
There will be plenty of snack foods, side dishes & desserts on hand to accompany our main dish, the "Roasted Pig".
Our pig is stuffed and roasted overnight so you'll likely smell the tantilizing aroma as you arrive on our property. We will be unveiling the pig at 4:30PM followed by the carving at 5:00. Get there early if you'd like to see the process!
Our cook, client and friend, Bill Carley, has been roasting pigs for quite a while and has volunteered to do it for us again this year. So here is your chance! Come see the interesting process and enjoy the great results!!!
