What:  4th Annual Client Appreciation Picnic

Where: Betty's Farm

When: October 18th, 2008

What to bring:  Food for the food pantry.   The Food Pantries always run low at this time of year so this is a good time to gather our canned and packaged foods for the food pantry.  Bring them with you to the picnic or drop by our office and leave your donation.  We appreciate your help in gathering the food together and your participation and the Food Pantry certainly appreciates your help.

What to wear?  It will be a little cool in the later day air, so wear layers and do so with the kids as well.

What you will enjoy:

          Roasted Pig!  We will be carving the pig at 5:30 so get there early to see the process.  Our cook, Bill Carley, has been roasting pigs for quite a while and has volunteered to do it for us and we have hesitated.  So here is your chance!  Come see the neat process and enjoy the great results!!!

          Pictures:  Pictures will be taken between 5 and 6:30 by Jenine with Olie Oops Photography.  We will email you your pictures and will post the pictures on this website at PicnicByBetty.com.  The pictures last year were so good, they were good enough to print and send in some of your Christmas cards to your family and friends.

          Bounce House:  We will have a Bounce House for the kids to enjoy.  So come prepare with your bouncing feet!

          Pinata:  The kids always love this game and each one will have a chance to bring our “house” open.  Kelsey Young is making us another little house filled with candy as a treat for the kids!

           Bring your appetite:  There will be plenty of food!  Dinner will be served starting at 5:30. Please bring a folding chair or a blanket to enjoy your meal.  We will have little fires so you can roast your own marshmallows and we have the chocolate for those “smores!”
